| Information | My passion is art and I'm obsessed by colour and design, especially in nature and urban environments. Love photography, life drawing, abstract painting, watching and reading inspirational biographies about others and working on my business. Love going flying with my husband and when I don't make myself sick, taking abstract landscape photos from the air.
I was recently chosen as one of 30 photographers worldwide to appear in the book “Real Colors of My Life”. The competition was held by Datacolour in Switzerland. Proceeds will assist an orphanage in Chile. Please visit www.blurb.com/bookstore/detail/750811
Over the last few years I've been working collaboratively on fashion shoots in addition to my portrait and corporate work. I'm now living back in Sydney where I spend my time working on my photography business (Julie G Photoraphy), my abstract painting and running photography courses for beginners.
When I have time I love to explore my surrounds by doing my personal photography, which is mostly abstract in style. Painting was my inspiration for photography so I love exploring ideas and spending hours getting lost in compositions, colour and ideas for painting. | |
